Verbal Abuse is often not what we expect it to be. It comes in so many shapes and colors.
There is the obvious kind: name calling and yelling, which is the easier to detect. The kind that is subtle: manipulations and control, putting you down with the feeling it’s your fault. The kind when you feel something is wrong: you are changing and slowly losing your mojo, but you just can’t put your finger on it. Your friends might start realizing that you are changing and so do you.
It is like a slow poison working on your soul.

The most common issue with being in a life crisis is the inability to see clearly and think objectively. It consumes our entire persona. Crisis situations leave us feeling isolated, weak, disillusioned and hopeless. The worries and the hurt and maybe fears put us in a fog. But there is a time after! Most always a better time.
